अर्जुनविषादयोग
द्रुपदो द्रौपदेयाश्च सर्वशः पृथिवीपते | सौभद्रश्च महाबाहुः शङ्खान्दध्मुः पृथक्पृथक् ||१-१८||
drupado draupadeyāśca sarvaśaḥ pṛthivīpate . saubhadraśca mahābāhuḥ śaṅkhāndadhmuḥ pṛthakpṛthak ||1-18||
This urges you to boldly announce your commitment to your life's duties, signaling the start of your selfless karma, or action. When you face major challenges, do not shrink away. Instead, raise your voice with courage, breaking through the maya of self-doubt and illusion that tries to keep you quiet and inactive.
1.18 Drupada and the sons of Draupadi, and the strong-armed son of Subhadra - all, O King, blew their several conchs again and again.
This blowing of conches announced the commencement of the battle.
